Capt. Brandon Hardesty
Brandon has been a member of Whiskey University since early 2024. His first class was the Jack Daniels class. Brandon continued his journey with Whiskey University, on March 5, 2024 he received his apprentice bourbon tester certificate and on April 2, 2024 he received his Bourbon diploma. Continuing his schooling, he received his associates degree in June 2024 and by August 18, 2024 he had completed 30 classes to complete his Bachelor's of Science degree with his two majors; Tennessee Whiskey and Bourbon Capital.
Brandon is a Coast Guard veteran who is from Michigan working in the Marine Construction Industry as a welder/fabricator foreman.
Brandons interest in Whiskey grew when he and his wife took at trip to Tennessee in May of 2022. They visited the Chattanooga Experimental Distillery and then Jack Daniels, while he was there, they learned of the Whiskey Trail. They made several trips back to Tennessee to visit other distilleries on the trail. He finished the Whiskey Trail in December of 2023. After completing the Whiskey Trail he earned 5 free classes from Whiskey University and continued his Whiskey Journey.
